Our privacy promise

Your files never leave this device. Everything — PDF redaction, metadata removal, EXIF stripping, masking, PII detection — runs in your browser. Our servers never receive, store, or log your files. In fact, this site has no file-processing server at all, so your files have nowhere to be uploaded. It works offline, which is the most direct proof.

Verifiable, not just a claim

Go offline and use it: every tool still works, proving processing is local.
Open your browser's Network panel: there are no upload requests while processing.
After redacting, copy, select-all, and search the output yourself to confirm nothing is recoverable — we surface this as a pre-export self-check.

Redaction disclaimer (please read)

This tool fully deletes the text under redacted areas by rasterization. But redaction is high-stakes — always verify yourself by copying, selecting-all, and searching the output before sharing.
Blur masking carries a theoretical risk of partial reconstruction in extreme cases; for maximum safety use solid black or pixelate.
We do our best to remove metadata and hidden content, but PDFs are complex and may hide data we don't cover. For legal/medical/evidence-grade redaction, consult a professional or use a certified tool.
This tool is for protecting your own privacy only and must not be used to forge or alter documents.
