EXIF viewer
See exactly what an image is carrying — including where its GPS points
Drag an image here, or click to choose
Processed locally in your browser — never uploadedUpload a photo and this tool lists every EXIF field it carries: capture time, camera/phone model, lens, exposure, and the most sensitive of all — GPS coordinates. If location is present, the latitude/longitude is shown so you can judge what it reveals. A self-check before posting, or a way to vet images sent to you. Fully local; neither the image nor the coordinates ever leave your device.
How to use EXIF viewer
- 1Pick a JPEG photo — parsed locally, never uploaded
- 2Review the full EXIF field list and GPS coordinates
- 3If you want it gone, jump to the EXIF / GPS removal tool
Why this tool
Letting you see what leaks before deciding whether to strip it is more reassuring than blind removal. Coordinates are shown locally only — unlike some online viewers that upload your image to their server.
FAQ
- Why does my PNG show no EXIF?
- EXIF is a JPEG/TIFF container; PNG/WebP usually carry no standard EXIF. They may hold other metadata, which the removal tool's redraw clears.
- Does viewing GPS go online?
- No. Parsing is offline and coordinates are shown locally, never sent to any server.
