Sharing a group photo, street shot, or event picture but want to protect bystanders? This tool masks faces in your browser: when your browser supports local face detection, faces are boxed automatically (no boxing each one); otherwise you drag to box them yourself. Either way it stays local — images never upload. Apply blur or pixelation, then review the exported output for recognizable faces. Blur or pixelation may leave recognizable clues; for sensitive text, prefer a complete solid cover in the region-masking tool.

Where supported, auto-detection saves boxing each face one by one — ideal for group photos — and the model runs locally. Auto-detection currently relies on a native browser capability with limited coverage, and profiles, occlusions, and tiny faces may be missed, so you can always add manual boxes, with masks burned into pixels.
