Every photo you take can embed GPS coordinates (precise to your front door), the time, your phone/camera model, even a serial number. All of this EXIF data leaks when you post or send the image. This tool losslessly strips every EXIF segment from JPEGs (pixels untouched) and removes embedded metadata from PNG/WebP by redraw. All in your browser — photos never upload. Batch supported.

Why this tool

For JPEGs we strip losslessly (no re-compression, zero quality loss), unlike "re-export and hope EXIF drops" which degrades the image. And the same site lets you blur faces and scan for PII — workflows single-purpose tools like ExifPurge can't reach.

FAQ

Will removing EXIF blur my photo?
Not for JPEG — we only strip metadata segments, never the pixels. PNG/WebP use a redraw with near-lossless quality.
Where do my GPS coordinates go?
Nowhere. Parsing and removal happen entirely in your browser; coordinates never leave your device.
